                                 A Woman’s tears

  “Why are you crying?” he asked his Mon.
  “Because I’m a woman.” she told him.
  “I don’t understand,” he said.
  His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will…”
  Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does Mon seem to cry for no reason?”
  “All woman cry for no reason.” was all his father could say.
  The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry. Finally he put a call to God. When God got on the phone, the man said, “God, why do women cry so easily?”
  God said, “When I made woman she had to be special. I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world; yet gentle enough to give comfort.
  I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
  I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up and take care of her family through fatigue and sickness without complaining.
  I gave her sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt them very badly.
  I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
  I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurt his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
  I gave her a tear to shed. It’s hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed. It’s her only weakness.
  It’s a tear for mankind.”

                                  女人的眼泪

    “你为什么哭呢?”他问妈妈。
    “因为我是女人。”她告诉他。
    “我不明白。”他说。
    他妈妈只是抱着他说：“你永远也不会明白的……”。
    后来，小男孩问他爸爸，“妈妈为什么无缘无故的哭呢？”
   “所有的女人都会无缘无故的哭。”他爸爸只好这样回答他。
    小男孩长大成人了，可是他还是不明白女人为什么会流泪。最后他给上帝打了一个电话。当上帝接过电话，他便问：“上帝，女人为什么会那么容易就落泪呢？”
    上帝说回答：“当我创造女人时，我就让她们与众不同。我让她的肩足够坚强去承受整个世界的重量，同样也足够轻柔给人以舒适与慰藉。
    我赋予她内在的力量足以承受分娩时的痛苦和孩子一次次厌弃时的痛楚。
    我赋予她坚强的特质，当其他所有每个人都放弃的时候，她仍然能继续坚持。在疲惫和病痛中，无怨无悔的照顾着家人。
    我赋予她敏感的心，在任何情况下都爱着自己的孩子。即使她的孩子曾深深地伤害过她。
    我赋予她力量，让她帮助丈夫克服过失。我用她丈夫的一根肋骨创造了她，用来保护他的心。
    我赋予她智慧，让她明白一个好的丈夫从不会伤害妻子。但有时也会考验她所能承受的力量，考验她是否有决心毫不迟疑站在他的身边。
    我赋予她眼泪。这眼泪专属于她，只要有需要，任何时候都可以流下来。这是她唯一的弱点。
    这是为人类所流下的眼泪。”

when I read this passage at the first time, it also touches me.  I thought of my mother. And I learnt that it was really not so easy to be a woman. Especially when she was a mother or a wife. There's so many tough things waiting for her……
