Reading Task: Chapter 12

Summary of the Content:
Almost all occupations will be affected by AI. Avoiding AI is not a wise move. Humans need to learn to collaborate with AI. However, humans do not need to delve into mathematics or programming. They only need to understand the basic principles, strengths and weaknesses of AI to predict its capability boundaries. By understanding AI, humans can identify the tasks that need to be led by themselves and achieve efficient human-machine collaboration. Although the current shortcomings of AI may be addressed in the future, sufficient knowledge reserves can help humans predict the trends of career changes. Moreover, after the development of AI, it needs to be continuously refined, which relies on human professional knowledge and experience.

Evaluation:
This part adopts a progressive argumentation, from "accepting influence" to "learning path", then to "division of labor strategy", then to "future prediction", and finally to "talent positioning", with the logic advancing layer by layer. Meanwhile, it is also emphasized through comparison by using "no need... just need... " to highlight the key points of learning and lower the psychological threshold for readers.
The author opposes the panic of AI replacing humans, emphasizes the value of collaboration, and points out that AI capabilities are evolving dynamically, but humans can maintain adaptability through cognitive improvement. At the end of this section, the author proposes that improving AI is an ongoing process, revealing the irreplaceability of humans in data supply and business understanding.
In the AI era, human competitiveness does not lie in competing against technology, but in reshaping their own roles through cognitive upgrading. The author encourages non-technical practitioners to proactively embrace AI and leverage the benefits of human-machine collaboration with business capabilities as a fulcrum.

Reflection:
In this regard, the most important point I have learned is that understanding AI does not have to start with technical details. In the past, I believed that to understand AI, one must pursue technical depth, which made me feel intimidated about learning about AI. But this part corrected my opinion.
From this part, I realize that we need to constantly update our cognition. The capabilities of AI are evolving rapidly, so we need to regularly review the changes in its shortcomings. In addition, all AI collaborations should aim at expanding human capabilities rather than replacing humans as the ultimate goal. Therefore, AI design needs to be people-oriented.
