After reading the "Parallel Structure" chapter, I better understand the differences between Chinese and English logic. The author sharply points out common structural problems in Chinglish.  

English sentences work like precise gear systems, where every part must match perfectly. Chinese thinking often focuses more on meaning than form. This habit leads to mixed verb forms and misplaced clauses when we write English. The book’s examples act like a mirror, showing hidden flaws in my own writing.  

What struck me most was the idea of "logical balance." Parallel structure isn’t just grammar—it reflects clear thinking. Using different word forms after conjunctions actually reveals broken logic chains. This realization made me check my writing habits again. Those "small mistakes" I ignored actually showed careless thinking.  

The practical solution is the "three-step test" from the book: find connectors, check parallel parts, ensure grammar consistency. When I used this method in my paper writing, vague instincts gradually turned into clear grammar awareness. This change from chaos to order proves real progress.  

This chapter doesn’t just fix errors—it trains structural awareness. Good English writing unites logic and form perfectly. This lesson will guide my language learning journey.
