Extracurricular studies kick off today
Groups of extracurricular studies from the two classes (Class 0903 & Class 0907) in Grade 2009 in English Department had discussions about their plan of a 3-month study respectively on Roman & Greek Mythology, Biblical stories, Chinese folk culture, and Open-course Translation in their classroom on Friday morning, September 30.
They chose one student among the group as their group leaders and would make further discussion about their concrete steps in the following three months study to decide each one's task to accomplish so as to bring the group study to a satisfactory close at the end of this semester.
What's interesting is the fact that some students chose to follow Ms Geng to do BaGua early every morning for at least one month, as they thought Bagua is a very useful and mysterious way for Chinese people to keep healthy . They expect to get more calm and peaceful mind after the learning and practice of Bagua, the heritage from ancient Chinese culture. |
