Joy

This is a gloomy little study, with windows of colored glass to exclude the view. In it, were furniture made by mahogany with carved patterns. The velvet cushions are all in dark green. Old Jolyon was always saying, “It must be a big price some day!”

This small gloomy study, of which all the glass of the windows are stained excludes the view outside the windows, was full of furniture with heavily-carved mahogany and cushions of dark green velvet. This piece of furniture was often mentioned by old Jolyon:“No possibility that it won't make a big price some day!”
