Lion, the Monarch of the Bush
With its magnificent, dignified stature and undeniable power and bush savvy, the lion is the indisputable ruler of the bush. Lions are normally found in prides of two or six, with each pride having their defined territory in which they hunt and live. As predators of zebra and wildebeest, as well as buffalo and giraffe, lions follow their source of food, prowling their environs early in the morning or at night. In the heat of the day, the pride snuggles up or plays with its young under the shade of the trees.
