  Vishnu is one of the most important gods in the Hindu pantheon and considered a member of the holy trinity of Hinduism with Brahma and Shiva.Vishnu is the Preserver and guardian of men.What's more, to illustrate Vishnu's superior status, Brahma is, in some accounts, considered to have been born from a lotus flower which grew from Vishnu's naval.

People tend to pray to Lakshmi to achieve success, but she does not reside with anyone who is lazy and only desires her wealth.We all know that Shri Lakshmi is the consort and dynamic energy of Lord Vishnu, that is, Goddess Lakshmi married Lord Vishnu.
When she borned,she looked so beautiful that the Devas and the Asuras stopped churning the sea and simply gazed at her.In those days, it was customary for a woman of marriageable age to choose her own husband. This was called as ‘swayamwara’.She smiled once and garlanded Lord Vishnu, choosing him above all the others.Thus with great pomp and show, Goddess Lakshmi married Lord Vishnu during the churning of the ocean.
Known as Shreenatha (beloved of fortune), Vishnu then placed Shreevasta, the symbol of Lakshmi on his chest. Whenever Vishnu battled the forces of evil and performed his duties as the guardian of the world, Lakshmi showered him with her love and affection and tended to him as a devoted wife.

After reading the post, I went to look it up online.Vishnu lived in the heavenly kingdom of Vakonta on the top of Miru Mountain, with the auspicious divinity of lakshmi (Goddess of wealth)  as his divine concubines.
