One-day trip in Da Weishan town
I went voluntarily to be a teacher in a primary school in Da Weishan town along with our school for one day this Sunday. Before that day, I had been told that that place is one of the poorest areas in Hu nan province and, I had beed warned to be careful of the kids there,because theywould never return your things to you once they got them, or even would steal you things. Considering all these aspects, I was a little worried on that morning.
After over two-hour bus trip, we got to the destination, realizing the school was not so bad as we had expected. The roads,the playgroud and the classrooms were newly bult by cement, so the secen, where kids run in the muddy roads without a shelter in a rainy day, at least would never appear any more. Moreover, the way they dress was also not so out as we had thought, rather some of them wore NIKE or ADDIDAS. Seeing that, the distrust on them remained in my mind all the time.
Arranged in group three consisting of eight persons, I enteren class one ingrade five. We got warm welcome. We, next, played games together. A few minutes later, the situation lost control. All the kids were as naughty as a flock of monkeys just set free from a cage. I, however, loved this feeling,  as this was what kids were really. Playing with them, I as if returned back to a child. There was no pressure of study and economy on my shoulder. How free I felt.
About one hour later, they seemed really trusted me. They climbed up on me, and pulled me down to the groud, then we rolled together, happy and carefree. Kids are kids. They were fairly easily satisfied by given a candy or playing games with me. They were not what I had been warned at all. Instead, they were simple-minded and honesty. How foolish was what I thought of them! Since then, I had understood that kids are innocent and we should not put any our own prejudice or any doubt on them. Just trust them and love them. Kids loved anything and anyone unconditionally. Funnily, there were couples of kids always along with me evev at lunch time. They strongly invited me to have lunch with them. I was deeply moved by seeing they did their best to occupy a seat for me.I once asked why they liked me, and they simply answered that they just liked for no reasons.
Happy time flied. It was time for us to leave. They,however, seized my bag and climbed up on me in an attempt to not let me go. They even wrote their address and a girl her name on my hand to keep in touch with them. They forced me to make a promise that I must come back next year,otherwise I must send a ET to them as a representative. What lovely kids they are. On that night, some of them sent messages to me, asking me wether I would come back next year. Yeah, I will come back if I get a chance.
