I found that Golding is trying to exaggerate the inherent good and evil in the boys on the island. However, inherent good and evil, is this the most important thing? Just like the boys in the novel, after coming to this chaotic island, in a short time, they lost their intelligence and maturity and became wild and crazy. Maybe we should pay more attention to what society ( or our living environment ) can do in order to help prevent catastrophe, to suppress evil and promote goodness? |
