As people rely more and more on technology to solve problems, the ability of humans to think for themselves will surely deteriorate.

Many times in the history new technology rocked the whole society with revolutions on every aspect of human activities. Undeniably, those inventions save a lot of money, times, and efforts for us, setting countless people free from mechanical repeating work, and experts from abundant toublesome calculation. To some extent, those inventions takes over the opportunity of practice and exercise which originally belongs to humans. Thus, people naturally lose, or partially lose, some certain kind of skills. However, it is still too far to conclude that thinking ability of humans will fade way because of taking advantage of technology. For the skill in single aspect can never fully represent the ability of a person. Technology is the tool subjected to its master, human being, no matter how advanced or smart the design is.
    Human, unlike iron machine, has limited energy and attention. Therefore if the computer or other high-tech devices can help in some repeating yet essential work, people will be able to spare much more time and effort to concerntrate on more important and complex parts of the work. From this angle, technology performs a positive role during this process, helping humans develope a more efficient way of thinking, focusing on the core. And the development of human society also indicates that this is truly the consequence of the creation and using of new technology. Each time new technology helps people go further, such as electricity, cars, shuttle, computer, internet and so on. Each invention on this endless list has brought great convenient and created great value to human society. They are the flower blossoming from the painstaking efforts taken by countless inventors and researchers aspiring to provide better life for everyone living on this globe. It is not the way we move, riding horses or driving cars, that matters. It is the ever-lasting desire to live, to know, to change makes difference. With the living of this desire, thinking will come to an end.
