请教乐器前是否需要加“THE”

I like to play the piano/ the flute.
My son is learning the piano.
He plays the trumpet in a jazz band.
She sang and her husband accompanied her on the piano.

涉及两种或以上的乐器时不用the:
She teaches violen, vello and piano.
I like to play musical instruments.

说到流行或爵士演奏家的演奏时不用the:
Milles Davis played guitar/trumpet.

一个记住定冠词"the"的用法：（体育项目和乐器）
加不加“the”看打扮，搞音乐的人穿戴都非常整齐，所以把他打扮一样，给他加上“the”；而搞体育的人则很随意，他们不讲究打扮，所以体育项目前不用加“the”。
