Disastrous earthquake in Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province
Beijing, May 18th, 2008(Xinhua)--------- A magnitude 8 earthquake hit the Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province at 14:28 on May 12th, 2008.
The disatrous quake led to couthless losses for many students beginning their classes and many adults setting out to work at that time.  
All country were shocked by the news and rescue work began immediately. Prime minister arrived at the affected area on May 14th and he said “the time is life, and we must all best to rescue our people.” Prime minister led people from all over the country to save victims, including the Armed Police, native people and volunteers.
The 8 magnitude quake which strcuk the Wenchuan County, also affected many other places of Sichuan Province. It has left  69227 dead, 17923 missing and as of 12 am, May 18th, 2008.
