To Love is to Live.
When I was sitting in the self-study room, pen in hand, eyes following the fluctuating gnat, a sweet power totally gripped my body and soul, my lips and eyes. I would never let myself calm down until this pen releases my exultation, which was conferred to me by Nature.

I was deeply soaked in my romantic make-believe, that is, a generous, kind and keen girl can own ever-lasting happiness. I must confess I was touched by Fanny, the protagonist in Jane Austine’s novel Mansfield Park. Because of her, the short appearance of the sun yesterday afternoon seemed to have burned the darkness of my heart. It was the beauty that I could see everywhere; it was the appreciative love that flowed all through my heart.

On my way to the self-study room, I passed two places of the most exquisite kind. First was a big square of meadow, surrounded by the silver smooth fences where a couple of people sat and chattered. The mild sunshine gilded on every part of the greenish as if the lively grass was invested with the sparkles of spirit and wits. The warm ambiguity in the air was inviting me. I grinned from ear to ear at its kindness and ever kept on moving. Hardly had I turned back my admiring eyes when another bundle of sunbeam casted on me from behind the upstanding tower on the top of a building. My pious admiration did not delay the great moment of meeting the sun. The wide grin again stretched on my lips and eyes. I saw the clouds pile one layer over another out of depth, concealing the blue secrets. They appeared to watch on me; but I could sense their heartfelt goodwill in my happy stepping.

I chewed and reviewed what I had seen and felt. I realized that there was only one thing I would like to call for from you. It is as precious as life itself and as common as the air we breathe with. It is as powerful as the moral value works its best and as delicate as the courage against the most fundamental conservation.

So to love is not easy; easiness does not come to appreciating the beauty, tolerating the defects and errors of both the outside and inside. Someone says that only the gifted, the tolerant and the confident are able to do that easily. However, it is not ultimate truth, because only love can guide you to discover your gift, to crystallize your tolerance, and to ignite your confidence. Love is the source of all kinds of human power, the strength of strength.

And to love is not to talk big, but a way of life, a way of learning to enjoy your various lives. To love can expand your taste for more different things so that the world becomes full of fun to you. To love can make you open-minded to unpleasant things so that you can interpret the world in numerous respects. To love can help better yourself so that you have the confidence to admit, even rectify the wrong.

At last, love will merge the world and yourself. You will feel the world and yourself become easy to handle. You are free physically and mentally to do anything you want. That is the top level of harmony between human and the world.

To love is not always as radical as to totally change the outlay of the world. More often, it starts from your own heart.

good descriptions of the natural sceneries.
very natural in leading readers into believing that love roots at our own heart.
