My Brave and Strong Mother

   In my world, my mother is the bravest and strongest person. Her heart is brave enough to brace the whole family for any difficulties and setbacks. Her shoulder is strong enough to carry the weight of the world.
   Like every mother all over the world, she has inner strength to endure childbirth. What makes my mother special is her courage to fate to gain her right to be a mother. The doctor warned her that pregnancy would throw her in the brink of death. I n spite of those warnings, she brought me to this world. Besides, she gave me a young brother two years later. If each mother is a flower, my mother is plum blossom in snow.
   It is said that God fashion women from men’s rib, therefore, women have to depend on men. However, my mother is to protect my father’s heart, to carry him through his faults and to encourage him to persist through the obstacle course of life and work. When he suffers from depression, she cheers him up. When he catches a serious disease and gives up, she takes good care of him and keeps going.
   My mother has a hardness which allows her to work through any adversities that crop up in our life and restore confidence among us. Life was extremely difficult for us when my father was an apprentice. With little money from my father, all the heavy burdens, looking after two children, earning money to support the family, working in the fields to grow crops, etc., came to my mother. She never complained how hard life was and never shed tear during that period.
   Brave people will never escape even they are wounded. They just grab their swords and moves. My mother belongs to that classification of people. In our rebellious adolescence, we argued with her and sometimes even criticized her. My father once hurt her feelings. My mother swallowed all the sorrow by herself. She loves us under any and all circumstances despite our disgusting behaviors.
   My mother builds our family ----for what our family is now is largely due to the braveness and strength of her. With the core of our family, our life, materially or otherwise, will be further improved.
