She came to the conclusion that what makes a person different is not what is within them, but the love and connection they share with others.
Finally, Klara accepted her fate in the yard. She didn't feel sad or betrayed, but was satisfied with the role she played in Josie's life. As she gradually lost her strength and her memories began to fade, she seized the precious moments she spent with Josie, as well as the lessons she learned about love, sacrifice, the beauty and complexity of the human world.
