In part 3 , as Klara's understanding of the human world deepens and she makes desperate efforts to save Josie, the story gradually escalates.
Klara became increasingly aware of Josie's mother's "alternative plan" in her heart. . However, Klara firmly believed that the power of the sun could heal Josie. She took a series of actions to demonstrate her loyalty to the sun and her wish to save Josie. She asked Josie's father, Paul, to help her destroy the Curtin machine because she believed it blocked the beneficial energy of the sun.
Meanwhile, Rick is still an important part of the story. His relationship with Josie has been constantly changing due to their different genetic conditions and life paths. Klara accompanied Rick and his mother to meet Vance. He might help Rick obtain a scholarship from Atlas Brookings College. This meeting demonstrated the complex adult world and how interpersonal relationships influence opportunities.
Day after day passed, Klara kept praying to the sun and offering sacrifices like her own nourishing liquid. Finally, it rained for a long time and the sun shone brightly. Miraculously, Josie's health condition improved. It is still uncertain whether this is Klara's prayer or a coincidence. As Josie's condition improved, she began to plan her future, including going to college. As Josie's life went on, Klara, who had fulfilled her mission, was gradually forgotten. |
