Theravada Buddhism, known as Asana Buddhism, is a general term for the three multiplications of Buddhism: "sound and smell multiplications" and "karma perception multiplications". Theravada advocates abiding by the precepts, strictly observing the precepts of the original Haasana Buddhism, and paying attention to the practice of their own precepts. After the emergence of Mahayana Buddhism, the original Buddhist ministry was demoted to Theravada Buddhism, but there are some differences between them.In philosophical theory, Theravada argues that "I Kong Fa have" negates the subjective truth, but does not completely deny the objective existence. The Mahayana insists that "Dharma is empty", which denies not only the subjective truth but also the objective truth, which is a thorough idealism. In the way of cultivation, Theravada advocates self-salvation for all living beings. Everyone can achieve nirvana through cultivation, but not everyone can become a Buddha. The Mahayana advocates not only crossing oneself but also crossing others, believing that anyone can become a Buddha as long as they sincerely believe in it.https://askanydifference.com/dif ... nd%20Theravada%20is

Hinayana Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism were introduced into China at the same time, and China began to have a large number of Buddhist sutras translated into Chinese from Sanskrit, among which A Shigao translated a large number of Hinayana Buddhist sutras. These Buddhist scriptures had an important influence on the spread of Buddhism in China during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties.
The history of Hinayana is ababundant and it is worth searching.

About Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, whose clan name is Gautama or Gotama and was born in 6th–4th century BCE. Buddha is one of the many epithets of a teacher who lived in northern India sometime between the 6th and the 4th century before the Common Era. There is still a controversary about Buddha. Some forms of the Buddism say that there is only one buddha for each historical age, while others believe that all beings will eventually become buddhas because they possess the buddha nature.

In China, Hinayana Buddhism was introduced to China at the same time. Among the thirteen major schools of Chinese Han Buddhism, there are also specialized Hinayana sects: Vaishnava, Chengshi, Kushe and other sects. The ancient Indian Jingliang Department was passed down to China to become Chengshi Sect, and some of the classics of the Ministry were passed down to China to become the Kusha Sect and so on. The earliest popular Zen mathematics in China, and later Vaishnava, Chengshi, and Kushe, all belong to the Hinayana category. However, these Hinayanas soon declined in China. Chinese jurisprudence and the Vinaya sect founded in the Tang Dynasty are based on the Hinayana law. The Hinayana classics of various schools of the ancient Indian continent that China has fully preserved are also very rich.

I think Theravada Buddhism has a great influence on China and is related to Rujia .

Theravada Buddhism places more emphasis on self-liberation and self-emphasis.

The introduction focuses on the differences and connections between Theravada Buddhism and Mahayana Buddhism. And I aslo learn from the Internet that Theravada Buddhism is a type of Buddhism that focuses on the eighth part of the Eightfold Noble Path. And the path that is said to lead to enlightenment like that which Buddha enjoyed.

It's a very clear demonstration of the Theravada Buddhism's “self-saving” pattern and the difference between it and the Mahayana.
