If we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities
Beliefs play a huge role in our life and even in our society. They provide a structured process through which we evaluate everything around us. However, not all of the beliefs we have, leads to right outcomes. If we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities----individuals, groups or nations are all going like this.What often happen to individuals is that they are liable to stuck in one certain style of belief without taking into account any consequences. They just think automatically .No one can imagine how terrible it would be if someone just worship ruthless beliefs. One year ago, I witnessed a girl who was in our faculty being assassinated by a brutal strange man nearby our dormitory. He did so just because the girl refused his love. Therefore he stabbed her and he firmly believed that no one could get what he couldn’t get. Half a year ago, a notorious scoundrel shocked the whole nation, who regarded money as his all. Nine people died at his gun eventually. These people lost themselves and were driven by their ridiculous belief just like an out-of-control car and hit around without any humanity. They hurt themselves as well as others.
The same thing is true of some groups. We all know Al-Qaeda which is an international terrorist network led by Osama bin Laden. And it helped finance, recruit, transport and train thousands of fighters from dozens of countries to be part of an Afghan resistance to continue the holy war beyond Afghanistan, al-Qaeda's so-called goal is to establish a pan-Islamic Caliphate throughout the world by working with allied Islamic extremist groups to overthrow regimes. It deems "non-Islamic" and expelling Westerners and non-Muslims. However, their tactics include assassination, bombing, hijacking, kidnapping, and suicide attacks. Al-Qaeda’s September 11, 2001, attacks on America armed the whole world, series of airline hijackings and suicide attacks committed by 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda against targets in the United States, the deadliest terrorist attacks on American soil in U.S. history. They are under the banner of” anti-corruption regime”, but actually they do the most brutal things around the world. They have gone too far and no one will believe that they are for the benefit of mankind.
If the absurdities of an individual or an origination let us immerse in terror, the whole world will be terrified by a nation’s absurd dogma. Japan is a country which believes Militarism which developed from Japanese Bushido. And it formed after Meiji Restoration in 1868.Japan adheres to this belief and harnesses people of its nation, they also eager to crazily expand territory and invade Asia. In1894, Japan launched the Sino-Japanese War, which brought unprecedented severe national crisis to the Chinese nation, and it foster Chinese society semi-colonial course.In1900,Japan, as the main Eight-Power Allied Force, invaded china again which made China lose more sovereignty.Japan’s defeat in World War II did not cause their reflection toward their belief. Nowadays, the right—wing forces in Japan visit to the Yasukuni Shrine, which strongly denied their heinous crimes committed in World War II, and they tamper with their textbooks in order to beautify aggression. What’s more, they want to claim the defend to the Diaoyu Islands. Under the enormous influence of militarism, Japan has made a lot of things infringing on the interests of other countries, however, it is controlled by this absurdity for a long time and even doesn’t know there is something deeply wrong in the belief.
In short, if we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities, including individuals, groups, and nations.
