Technology and MankindThis issue discussed about two points. The first was technology made humanity little real progress. We couldn’t deny technology brought us various materials to make our life comfortably. The second referred to technology couldn’t change the condition of humanity. Compared to the past century, the condition now was steadily. The themes of the times are peace and development. Under the international atmosphere, I couldn’t agree with this argument more.
For one thing, as we all know, technology is the primary productive force. Our development relied on the technology. For the minor aspect, computers were the most obvious one which gathered entertainment study, work and life in this small machine. Even we could stay home shopping and order the meal, how convenient the computer brought us! Look surrounded how much technology we are using, mobiles, cars, televisions and so on. For the huge aspect the technology made us landed on moon.How glorious the progress was! It must be a huge lip in history. If the huge leap couldn’t stand for real progress and what ways could mankind used to make real progress!
For another thing, productivity relations depend on productivity. As long as our productivity developed, our productivity relations developed as same. We still remembered our history book has written that almost every inner revolution or international revolution happened with war and violence let alone poverty. But today, we lived in a peaceful atmosphere, wars seemed far from us. Although some bad conditions still with us, but it became better and better gradually. Compared to the ancient time, we dressed leaves as clothes, ate uncooked meat as food, lived grass house as home. We couldn’t deny technology impact humanity condition infectiously.
When we discussed about technology influenced society, we always had different opinions, but we should look forward, the condition of the humanity will be better.
