Where there is a will, there is a way
Where there is a will, there is a wayA well-known proverb says that “Where there is a will, there is a way” which means that only if one has a strong will, he or she will be successful sooner or later. A strong will is one of the most important guarantees of success. With a strong will, one can focus all his or her attention and energy on the determined goals. Without a strong will, one must be always at sea; once one meets some difficulties, he or she will make various excuses to give up, which lead to the ultimate failure.
Perhaps the example of “foolish” Old man is the best explanation of this proverb. Once upon a time, there was a large mountain called Tai-Ying which sat between “foolish” Old Man and the nearest village. Every day, “foolish” Old Man had to walk many extra miles in order to circle around Tai-Ying, and finally he decided to move the mountain out of his way. However, everyone knows that it is not a small project to move a mountain. With the encouragement of “foolish” Old Man, his children and grandchildren all join in this huge project. After a year, only a tiny portion of Tai-Ying had been carted to the sea, but they were still with hope. Regardless of the shopkeeper’s mock, he just smiled. "You are right, yes, I will become older and older, but your vision is short. However, I have children who have children who will bear more children. As time goes on, they get stronger and the mountain grows weaker. Tai-Ying will be moved." We often compare such determined people to the “Foolish” Old Man in traditional story who started digging away two huge mountains to remove them. If your will is as strong as “foolish” Old Man’s, nothing can knock you down.
For most of the loser, strong will and determination are their deadly weaknesses. They fear difficulties, they fear to solve difficulties; they make no efforts in subjective aspects and find various excuses in objective aspects. Actually, nothing is easy; you will meet some small or huge problems when you begin. If one has the will to succeed, then the size of the obstacles will seem smaller, and one can achieve one's goals. Real winners won’t allow any obstacles or failures to prevent their process.
All in all, a strong will is essential if you want to make some achievement in your life.Remember it, opportunity is open to those well prepared for it, god bless those who fight for their dreams with a strong will.
