WenChuan earthquake hit regions have been well reconstructed(ZhongHuan Xinhua News Agency, 30th Oct.)In today’s news press on the report of the reconstruction of the WenChuan earthquake hit regions, the minister in charge of the After-quake Reconstruction Apartment officially announced that the infrastructures in quake hit regions have been successfully rebuilt.
This impressive achievement is the consequence of the tremendous investment and solid support of the central government, as well as brother provinces and municipalities from all of China, after a three-year hard-work, involving 30,000 workers. This indicates a historical milestone of the long process of the whole reconstruction of the hit areas, including the restore of the victims’ life and work. This also shows the strong will and unmoving perseverance of great Chinese people.
However, we have to keep in mind that this is only the first step toward a up-coming hard-work. We still have a lot of work to do. In the following days, the arrangement of the homeless people will put a big trouble in front of both the administrators and also the ordinary people, who have lost their home for more than two years. In order to build a harmonious society, we have to help people who have lost their only child, due to the resent on-child policy, aiming to keep the large population at a low increasing rate, to get a baby. Also ,it is necessary to help them to get jobs to feed their family, most people have lost all their property during the 8.0 magnitude earthquake.
The 8.0 magnitude earthquake happened in 12th,May 2008, centered in WenChuan, SiChuan province, southwest of China, has claimed over 70,000 people and left millions of people injured and homeless. this reads like a comment, not news, I'm afraid:(
