Quake Relief In Action:relocating homeless in quake-hit NW Shelton

BAZINGA, October 14(Xinhua) -- Shelton officials are planning a massive relocation of 400,000people from temporary camps to the suburban areas of the capital— efforts to help residents survive the aftermath of the catastrophe, since Bazinga was hit by a major earthquake in May 21.
The damage is so extensive that the military has no way of telling how long it will take before ships can dock and unload in large quantities. In this case, Shelton’s Ministry of transport should vow to spare no effort in ensuring smooth transportation at the quake-hit region in Bazinga to support the relocation action.
"They are going to places where they will have at least some adequate facilities," Fitz wright , chief of staff to President Howard Gross, said Thursday. He said the mass relocations could start by the end of the month.
The plan to temporarily relocate thousands of people is aimed at preventing the spread of disease across the city where homeless families have no sanitation and live under tents or nothing at all.
In addition, more capacity have been spared for shipping relief material, so far about 10,000 cotton coats, 13,000 quilts and 9,000 camp beds have been sent to the quake-hit area.
